The Cement Production Flow Line and TMD GRUP's Role
Cement production essentially follows this flow: raw material extraction from limestone and clay quarries → crushing → preheating and raw-meal preparation → kiln (clinker production) → clinker cooling and storage → cement milling → cement silo → packing or bulk dispatch. At every stage of this flow, equipment is needed for bulk material handling, dosing, dust control and flow routing — and TMD GRUP manufactures all of this equipment.

Raw Material and Clinker Handling — Belt Conveyors and Bucket Elevators
Long-distance horizontal handling in cement plants is carried out with TMD-BC series belt conveyors. Lines from the raw-material quarry to the crusher, from the crusher to the raw-meal silo, and from clinker cooling to the storage hall, are all belt-conveyor lines. For high-temperature materials such as clinker, heat-resistant belt types and abrasion-resistant steel housings are used.
At vertical handling points — especially at preheater tower feed and clinker silo loading — bucket elevators come into play. TMD GRUP's elevator portfolio in the 125–1000 mm bucket-width range fits every capacity level of a cement plant. For clinker, the chain type + HB450 buckets are preferred.
Cement and Fine Powder Handling — Airslide and Screw Conveyor
From the cement mill outlet to the cement silo, from the silo to the packing station, micron-level cement dust requires very gentle handling. Conventional mechanical conveyors at these points either emit excessive dust or wear too quickly. The solution: TMD GRUP airslide systems. With no moving parts, fan-fed air conveying, quiet and energy-efficient structure, it is the most heavily used handling system in the cement sector.
Screw conveyors come into play at shorter-distance, steeper-angle points: from silo to dosing line, in packing-station feed. The fully enclosed tubular screw type reduces dust release to zero.
Dust Control — Bag Filters and Environmental Compliance
The cement sector is one of the industries with the highest dust-emission potential. Dust is generated at every point — from kiln outlet to mill outlet, from transfer points to silo ventilation. TMD GRUP bag filter systems capture these emissions at the source:
• High-temperature-resistant (Aramid/Nomex) bags — for the kiln outlet.
